- ब्लीडिंग टाइम (BT): यह मापता है कि त्वचा पर कट लगने या चोट लगने के बाद बहता हुआ खून कितनी जल्दी रुकता है。यह मुख्य रूप से प्लेटलेट्स (Platelets) के कार्य की जांच करता है。
- क्लॉटिंग टाइम (CT): यह जांचता है कि रक्त वाहिका के बाहर निकलने के बाद खून का थक्का (Clot) बनने में कितना समय लगता है。यह रक्त में मौजूद थक्का जमाने वाले कारकों (Clotting factors) की कार्यप्रणाली को मापता है
